Bob Vanderbob a.k.a. Bobvan is a composer, video artist, writer and communication artist based in Brussels (Belgium).

His work explores a conceptual territory landmarked by science and science-fiction metaphors. He is the initiator of the Artificial Mythology project, 'an attempt at catalyzing a modern mythology in the framework of the solar system'.

Bobvan attended the legendary Creative Music Studio in New York, founded the rock group Des Airs and the activist cyberpunk duet Sacher Musak in the 80's, set up Sauce Riche Fanfare and recorded two solo albums released on Crammed Discs : Loonychip Classics and Water Dragon.

Bobvan then started exploring the field of sound in space, or 3D audio.
His research in sound spatialization led him to create the Sound Tree, a listening environment for sound stories for children: “cinema for the ear”.
